ANTIHERO
Multi-instrumentalist and producer Krone was previously a member of The Shys, a band that was signed to Seymour Stein’s Sire label (Madonna, the Pretenders), and recorded with Nashville producer and current Grammy nominee Dave Cobb. Hoogenboom, meanwhile, had been a member of internationally-touring Sydney pop band Set Sail until he had problems with his visa.

ANTIHERO
“Antihero,” similar to its predecessor “High Praise,” sees the duo updating the indie-pop sounds of yesteryear and splashing them with a healthy dose of coastal sunshine. JOIE DE VIVRE
Interview with Kyle Krone
What messages do you hope listeners take away from Joie De Vivre?
I just want it to mean something to them, to have value. Whatever it is. Music has always been so important to me and I want to make music that is important to people.
MUSIC MECCA
JOIE DE VIVRE
The EP is a collection of breezy tunes that take you to a tropical island with the only care in the world being the sun shining on your face and the sand in your toes. The recurring grooves create a lighter and more weightless take on the classic rock genre.
ALBUM DAILY
JOIE DE VIVRE
